Description
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Super, introduced in 1965, was an evolution of the earlier Giulia TI, offering improved performance, refinement, and styling. It was powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four DOHC engine producing 102 horsepower at 5,500 rpm, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Weighing around 1,000 kg, it combined spirited acceleration with excellent handling, thanks to its well-balanced chassis and rear-wheel-drive layout.
The Giulia Super retained the aerodynamic, boxy design of its predecessors, featuring quad round headlights, a signature Alfa Romeo grille, and a more refined interior with a wood-accented dashboard and additional comfort features. Capable of reaching a top speed of around 175 km/h, it was one of the fastest and most engaging sedans of its era. Known for its precise steering and responsive engine, the Giulia Super became a benchmark for sports sedans and remains a highly desirable classic today.
