The Austin 10/4 Lichfield Saloon was introduced in 1934 as an updated version of the standard Austin 10, offering improved styling and enhanced comfort. The Lichfield Saloon retained the 1125cc four-cylinder side-valve engine, producing around 21 horsepower. This provided steady and reliable performance, with a top speed of approximately 50 mph.
