The Chevrolet DeLuxe Fleetline was introduced in the early 1940s and became especially popular in the immediate postwar years, with production spanning from 1941 to 1948. It was part of Chevrolet’s upscale DeLuxe trim level and was recognized for its distinctive “fastback” styling, which set it apart from the more conservative sedan and coupe designs of the time.
The most striking feature of the Fleetline was its sleek, sloping roofline that extended smoothly from the top of the windshield to the rear bumper. This aerodynamic design, often referred to as a “torpedo” or “aero” style, gave the car a dynamic and modern look that appealed to style-conscious buyers. The Fleetline body was available in two main configurations: the two-door Aero Sedan and the four-door Sport Master Sedan.

Interiors included better upholstery materials, chrome trim, and a dash layout that emphasized symmetry and simplicity. Optional equipment could include a push-button radio, in-dash clock, heater, and dual sun visors, depending on the year and customer specifications.
